Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • The color is ruby fro rim to core on this aptly named trio of Cabernet Franc (30%), Merlot 60%) and Petit Verdot (10%). The nose is ripe with licorice, currants, brewed tea and raspberry. The flavors are much the same on the palate, but with the added element of mocha on the finish. The mouthfeel is medium shading to lean. The finish is a bit short, but nothing to be ashamed about. Over all, the wine is good. No sediment. 12.5% alc. With Valdeon blue cheese and crusty bread. Recommended.
