Quite aromatic. Seems to have a core of black cherry with some tart raspberry highlights. Forest floor, hint of funk and a mint of mint round out the flavors. Palate is vibrant and still a bit narrow. I suspect this will broaden and fan out with time.

Clever corkage tasting note is great and on the spot. A little funk, clean purity of fruit, lighter interpretation. really a great QPR in the $30 range
Beautiful pale Ruby in color. Expressive aromas and flavors of tart raspberry, sweet red cherry, pomegranate, and damp earth. Light bodied on the palate but with pronounced fruit intensity. The fruit profile is crunchy and marked by high acidity. Tannins are medium (-) and smooth. Alcohol is medium (12.2%). Extremely enjoyable now and has the fruit intensity, tannin structure and acidity to age for 7 +years.

Really good. A bit of spicy funk on the nose, but overall not the most expressive right now. Palate is beguilingly perfumed and darker fruited than I was expecting - black raspberry, black plum. Meaty, full-bodied (structured, but not weighty), with tangy acid, a tinge of green (stems?), and a bit of gaminess and barnyard funk. Evocative of Gevrey, with its stony, ferrous tang, and a long finish with black cherry and damp earth. Already very drinkable but has a point or two in upside.
