  Admittedly, this bottle was a PnP with some glass time for air. I *wanted* to decant it, but my brother started guzzling it. I'm torn here - the wine is very good. Nose of blackberries and earth, palate was definitely on the valley side for lush, voluptuous fruit. I got more thick fruit tannins than spicy notes. Finish was average +.
  
  So, is this wine a very good $45 bottle, or an amazing $85-115 bottle on discount? I lean towards the former, but I recommend decanting.
