Similar to the first note i wrote on this wine. It started out rather lean and tight, but opened up after an hour or two to express some cherry, raspberries and forest floor on the light to medium bodied, silky palate. Nice nose of cherry, mushrooms and earth still too. Probably time to drink these now (B+/A-).

Still deep brick in colour, with a lovely nose filled with cherries, mushroom and earth. A silky textured, medium bodied pinot, with the secondary flavours of earth, mushrooms and smoke, along with the redfruits and still some tannins. Glad I waited to try this, and glad to have one left. No great rush (A-).

Was drinking very well. Had some sour notes at first, but with time this was just gorgeous. Tons of soft rose tones, cherry, and cranberry. There were some tannins too, but this was accessible.

Appearance: Clear, medium (+) intensity ruby with garnet rims and legs Nose: Clean, medium intensity and developing aromas of plum, earthy, red cherries, herbs, tea leaves, jamminess Palate: Dry, medium (+) acidity with a sour note, medium (-) tannin though smooth, medium alcohol, medium (-) body with medium intensity flavors of plum, cherries, prune, kirsch and earth. Medium length. Conclusion: Acceptable quality Cote de Beaune 1er cru, not intense and quite simple, with reasonable length but too high an acidity to make this wine not very balanced. Ready to drink and can further develop for another 1-2 years.
