  • Lovely ripe nose: plenty of new wood – nothing too sweet, but present and aromatic, some toast. Ample and fresh with pronounced ripe red fruit, especially cherry, and I find a clean-cut graphite edge too. Very attractive.

Medium to full-bodied, weighty, silky and elegant. This ambles along nicely with a mix of red, blue and black fruits, toasty oak, and a chalky mineral grip. Some green notes again, but this is nicely balanced and weighted, with good fruit expression. Lovely.
