  PNP. Dark purple to the rim. Nose is rich with dark purple fruit (plum, currants) - but one dimensional. Palate carries sour cherries and a tartness that continues to the finish. Tannins are fine grained but also carry though the finish… actually, the last thing you notice when the tartness fades. Enjoyable, but not a star.

  On the nose- Big dark fruits, dark cherries, blackberries, dark blueberries, plums, dark blueberries, violets, cassis, dark chocolate, cigar box spice, red licorice, baking spice, cinnamon
  
  On the palate- Big dark fruits and dark cherries, blackberries and dark blueberries, plums and dark blueberries, violets and cassis, dark chocolate and cigar box spice, red licorice and baking spice with a hint of cinnamon. This wine is KILLER now with a bit of bottle age. I would give it an hour decant time to really open up. I see this aging another 7-10 years with no problem at all. This wine is big and plush but has such a great backbone and aging potential I am excited to see what cellar time does to this wine.
