Decanted 3 hours before drinking. When opened nose was very muted. The nose opened up over this time. Very good wine. I will save my other bottle for awhile.

Pretty damn good right now with a 2 hour decant/aeration. Nose is pretty subdued although you really get limited heat on the nose, which is a harbinger of how well the wine is made. It is so velvety on the palate with no hard edges. Fruit is pure and resplendent with dark black fruit and chocolate notes - the finish is very long and smooth but with enough acidity and tannins structure to let you know it will be around for a long while.

It took about 4 hours for this wine to reveal any fruit behind the dark bold characteristics. I was almost resigned to the fact that it wasn't going to evolve at all but on the last glass, it showed its potential. I'll gladly hold a couple more years before trying again.

Still too young but an incredible wine. 4 hour decant and it needed it. The palate is unlike anything I've tried before regarding velvetness. It is completely seamless and has a 'floating' texture. Incredible. Dark dark purple, completely opaque. Super concentrated. Black fruits, tar, dark and milk chocolate. A slight green note is still evident amongst the ultra dark core of black fruits and powerful concentration. The freshness of the oak on the nose proves it is still too young. It doesn't break, even 10 hours in, the nose is still tight and displaying very high quality oak -albiet out of balance at this stage. I think it should be aged for a minimum of 5 years. The quality and pureness/realness of the fruit is outstanding.

Decant 3 hours. Extremely exquisite. Superb deep, dark fruit, and classy long finish. Drink with meat or mushrooms or cheese. Flexible pairing.
