Have you ever started nibbling on a bag or box of something and just couldn’t help yourself or stop? This has been the wine equivalent as I have burned through my inventory of these faster than Sherman’s march to the sea. This is alluring, inviting and seductive with delicious red fruit with just the right tinge of ripeness and a lovely entey to the palate. Gorgeous throughout and can’t wait for the 21’s to come.

This bottle accompanied us on our Spring Break road trip to DC. I think it got as far as Cleveland and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Toast one for Lowell George and Little Feat, who have more than earned entry into the HOF. Like them this Pinot is in utter harmony and hitting all the right notes. Beautiful red fruit that you could enjoy from Tucson to Tucumcari, like rollin’ into New York City. I digress. This is a great Pinot with all aspects in harmony; luscious fruit, soft mouthfeel and a lasting finish.

Soft and gorgeous color. Pale ruby with great fruit. Rounded upon entry. Pillowey if that is a word. Elegant and inviting. All things are harmonious and in balance. Love this Pinot- like Goldilocks said, “It is just right”. I usually enjoy the Martinelli Pinot style very much, especially a couple of the single vineyard sites, but this one has risen to the top of my list.

So glad I did a reload on this Pinot. Delicious red, ripe berries with cherry flavors predominant. Elegant and flavorful with excellent mouthfeel. I really enjoy the weight and soft attack of this Pinot. I like Martinelli’s Pinot style - more mellow and inviting without being overly complex or overwrought.
