  • Extremely pale colour, shy nose which has become a little waxy over the past year or so. Smooth and delicate palate with a tickle of sweet crunchy fruit and buttered toast. Not massively complex but has calmed nicely and picked up a degree of finesse, although perhaps the alcohol sticking out just a touch. Rather clipped finish. A pleasant wine for nice easy drinking over the next year or two.

  • Very pale straw colour with a greenish tinge - looks very much like a sauvignon! Grapey nose with a blob of pineapple and a hint of toast. Very viscous in the mouth with strong acidity (almost too strong?). Again some pineapple and some sweet crunchy berries. Very ripe. Finish is simple but smooth. A bit of a bruiser of an Aussie chardonnay but somewhat lacking in complexity and finesse. Certainly not a burg-a-like.
