Georg Breuer - Double vertical Schlossberg / Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Glass: Stölzle White All wines (except where noted otherwise) where double decanted about 7-10h before tasting. Medium golden color. Very fine, fragile and fragrant nose, lots of herbs and floral notes, fine yellow fruit. What an amazing perfume! Awesome! Unbelievable! Amazing! These are my first notes I have written for this wine and that says it all. Pressure like you get a punch in your face from Mike Tyson. Complex palate with lots of herbs, liquid stone and yellow stone fruit. Precision like a Yedi sword. Depth and never-ending length. And still young with upside potential! For me the best Nonnenberg in this amazing tasting. 96-97

Full, rich nose with powerful petrol notes. Ripe yellow apple, honey and minerals in the background. Dry, medium palate with piercing acidity. Complex, fat and elegant. Spices, ripe apple, grape fruit, crushed stones and a more elegant petrol hint than on the nose. Long finish. Generous, but at the samt time properly austere. Very good showing.

Middag med venner: Blind. En svak epleskrott, men frisk og lang, leskende, men en begrenset finish. Ikke optimal flaske?

Breuer Schlossberg ve Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Breuer in Rüdesheim): Not blind, decanted for six hours
After the awesome SB 2004 (second bottle from the winery) it felt a bit short and less dense but phantastically balanced. Reluctant and fresh. 95
