Pale lemon in colour with noticeable petulance. On the palate, full bodied fruit forward tart green fruit, citrus/lemon, gooseberry, smoke/flint, a hint of oak, silky mouthfeel with high acidity & a medium to long finish ending in chalky minerality. This is balanced, complex wine, & is noticeably different from both Marlborough & Sancerre.

Nz style, lush tropical fruit on nose, more reserved stonefruit and lime zest palate. Good depth and concentration. Lees contact and partial oak aging not showing through much.
