  (Disgorged in December 2020, 100% Pinot Noir from ungrafted old vines planted in 1973 in Écueil, dosage 2 gr/l, 3 326 bottles made)
  Light yellow colour with a warm nose showing mandarin citrus with a fruity cox apples note as well and with a pleasant acidity on the palate with red apples and showing a ginger spicy note on the pleasant finish.

  Liquid gold in appearance. Brioche freshly baked bread and green apple on the nose. Fine bubbles, medium bodied, and the midpalate shows a core of patiserrie and succulent green fruit with persistence, clear focus and good shape on the finish. Good freshness too. A lovely drop enjoyed from Zalto Universal.
  
  100% Pinot Noir from a massale selection planted in 1973. Spontaneous fermentation with 9 months élevage on the lees and vinified without malolactic fermentation nor filtration. Disgorged 09/2021 Dosage 0g/l 12.5%ABV

  A Champagne that will need a few years to fill out, the 2015 Les Coupes is still in a bit of its primary mode, especially when compared to the 2012. This version offers an affable entry and notably balanced weight distribution. An easy one to sip in that regard. Lemon meringue melds with fresh plum juice, black cherry water, cantaloupe rind, and white rock. Primary and somewhat simple in terms of layering, but not without pleasure now. Try again in 2025. 92++ points.
