  Went quickly before forming any notable impressions. Seemed medium bodied, dark with some mature/madierized notes of plum, black cherry. Seemed a little flat and over the hill. Karen drank most of the bottle so that's all I've got.

  I always enjoy Loring wines. This had nice, dark fruit and seemed in balance. There was something tangy on the end of the finish that I could not make out. It didn't prevent me from liking the bottle. At mid to high $40s, this is not a deal at least for my budget. However, when one can get it in the 30s, it certainly is.
