As I understand it, The blend changes yearly, but consists of mostly Gamay from Morgon and Fleurie blended with other varieties. Some years indigenous Jura varieties, in others, the likes of Syrah from Cote Rotie and Mondeuse from Savoie are added. I couldn't find any definitive source for the blend in this vintage.
Light in colour. Very open and expressive aromatically. Red fruits, cranberry, pomegranate, grilled watermelon. Worn saddle leather and a few floral notes. A slight effervescence on the palate at first, but that dies down with some 20 minutes in the glass. On the palate the fruit is bright, fleshy and slightly spicy (is that the Syrah or Mondeuse? Hard to say). Missing a smidge more acid to give the wine some lift and carry it through. As it stands, there's a disappointingly abrupt and short finish.
ABV: 13.1% Closure: natural cork Stem: Grassl Cru Decant: 30min; drank over the course of ~4h

Lovely and expressive sweet raspberry fruit with a touch of funk showing as dirt, barnyard and acetone. Everything is in a lovely balance and the combination of fresh fruit and funk is great. Liked it a lot.
