In a good spot, on a plateau with probably a couple years left. Fresh dark fruits, some candied red fruit, some tobacco & soft leather, a touch earthy spice. Slightly round texture, fairly easy drinking at this point but went well with a steak.

I've been collecting this winery for quite some time and this bottle was possibly the best I have had from them. Just full of ripe red fruit, mineral, chocolate and caramel. A real Christmas treat. Possibly helped by this one being from magnum.

Very fragrant nose showing a nice herb/menthol streak on top dark fruit & vanilla bean. Palate is medium body, shows plenty of fruit with that vanilla tone, and is pretty silky. Tannins seem resolved, acid is decent -probably time to drink these, as most of the Diamond Mountain structure has declined.

Completely delicious and ready to drink at 12 yrs. Was a bear up till now. Shows the right drinking window for these wines at -10-12 yrs. Curiously, I think that this single vineyard wine was a mellowed and nicer to drink than the blend from the same year, though this may not be true in every vintage as I usually prefer the estate blend.
