Day 1: Smoke, roasted meat, bell pepper, spice, dark berries and stone. Medium plus finish and as always above the QPR value with Kevin White. 93 points Day 2: Dark fruits, black licorice, black pepper, minerals, smoke and earth tones. Medium plus finish and really drinking well young which is what many Kevin White wines are all about. 93 points Day 3: Pepper, dark fruits, minerals, mild smoke, cigar and black licorice. Intense even on day 3. A wine with some long-term aging potential. 93 points Recommendation: This is a wine I would hold until 2025 and later. It is very good but needs a heavy decant for consuming on day 1.

5/1/2021 - jmcmchi Likes this wine:
63% Bouschey syrah, 37% Weathereye grenache
Tar dominates nose. Garrigue, underlying dusty tannins, talc and dark blue berries, pepper emerging on finish.
Will be interesting to see how this develops, looks like being approachable quite early
