  Beautiful. Aromas of citrus and apples, lemon cream, wood, baking spices, and butter. All in wonderful balance. Creamy and smooth initially on the palate, then the acidity swoops in to left all the flavors and lighten things up. My only knock is that I wish there had been more, better-integrated acidity in this wine. Other than that, it was outstanding. The finish was long, soft, and gently tapering. Very classy.

  My second bottle and as the first was an 89, and this is a 91, I averaged the scores. The ultimate winebid deal, if the rest drink like this. Minerality, green apples, a little oatmeal, and white flowers. Almost Chablis like in its' flinty personality. It would score much higher if it was larger framed and more intense, but this bottle has perfect balance.

Like the nose especially as the glass comes up to temp: lemon peel, mineral, slight chemical cleaner smell. Minerals, stone fruit, slight citrus, fair amount of acids, flinty. Still not a huge Chard fan but this is pretty nice.
