Deserves more than a score. Linear acid-driven flavors with earth and chalky minerality. Rose petals, too. The nose has a cherry preserve quality, definitely showing some nice age on the primary fruit. Dried herb/roasted pepper quality, too. Tannins are resolving now, but this will always be an acid driven wine. I'd hold for a few more years as this is getting pretty interesting, though the nose has good weight and depth already. A food wine, for sure.

Very interesting blend. Nose is primarily plummy with pure red fruits, though I bet there's plenty more lurking underneath. This does very well on the attack. Layers of fruit hit up front, then there's a transition to a earthy, mineral laden finish that goes on forever. I'd say 92-ish unofficially mainly based on the crazy, unique, layered flavor arc this wine has. Great structure and acidity. More people need to make Refosco/Cab Franc/Merlot blends.

I enjoyed this - cherry flavors and fairly bracing acidity.
