First taste on pouring from 55 degree fridge: nice, light, light flows through it visually. It tastes like some stems were fermented with the grapes. SB Grenache, NOT like Spanish Grenache-- not hot at all. High quality, nice wine as it breathes and warms. Light but with flavor and definite tannic bite (still young).

This is the best of three Samsara grenaches I’ve tasted. I could imagine myself mistaking this for pinot in a blind tasting. It is ruby red with some transparency. Pretty strawberries on the palate, along with a caramel flavor that I think comes from the barrels. Spice is very light. Well crafted. If you just have one bottle, I wouldn’t purposefully age it, but i think it has moderate aging potential.
