We are stunned, this is delicious still! Bouquet of nectarine and other lovely citrus after all this time, with still remarkable acidity and flint notes and a lovely finish. Still clear and light. Cellared at 55 F its entire life. Amazing.

Sensational effort. This wine was decanted for an hour before enjoying. It shows hints of the best white burgundies with its nose, minerality and weight, yet carefully balances its pedigree as a Napa Sauvignon Blanc. A gripping stone fruit and citrus core elegantly transforms to a remarkable finish of honeydew, white peach and apricot. Age has complemented this wine with beautiful balance, and it was delightful to enjoy. Compare with Pavillon Blanc, Domaine de Chevalier and Pape Clement (and Haut Brion, if you can find it!).

Special stuff, as it should be given the price tag. Incredible nose and presentation that struts its uniqueness. A blend of honey, apricot and multiple citrus flavors. All of this said, it did not live up to memories of my last tasting 3 years ago which makes me suggest that folks drink this one up in case it is truly in decline.

I think they were successful in their attempt to create a wine that is stunningly complex yet subtle ... Tropical fruit nose lures one in and a multitude of tropical and citrus flavors travel by with not one overwhelming the picture as undertones of vanilla and spice add depth and weight. One needs to slowly soak it all in to appreciate the effort and the price tag.
