Wines of the Camino de Santiago; 9/13/2022-10/19/2022 (Northern Spain): This was a pop and pour. It showed well right away with excellent depth that leans into soulful tones of Plums, pomegranate, red cherries, roses, incense, perfumes, raspberries, currants, spice notes, crushed rocks, some earth notes, a bit of tobacco leaf, and herbs. The Medium/Full bodied feel is silky and elegant with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is Elegant and poised with a lengthy finish. This needs about an hour of air, but it’s a real beauty already and can age further.
