Stored in perfect condition. Cork showed no unusual wear signs. Opened and had a glass. Appearance of wine is clear. Nose was slightly smoky and earthy, like a wet forest. Taste is further continuation of smoke and earth. Fine acidity. Balanced wine. Continued drinking the bottle 24 hours later. Smoke and earth subsided just a bit. First time trying Baco Noir. Would buy again. Wine has ability to go another 5 to 10 years.

This was suggested by a new buyer at one of my local wine stores. Asked her to suggest something she really liked so I could see how our tastes compared. An unusual grape and since this was my first Baco Noir I can't say how it scores in its breed, but I quite enjoyed it.
