  On the first day, this was almost undrinkable. Alcoholic nose and a weird fruity smell, nice midpalate, but a alcoholic disjointed finish that was really unpleasant. Came back 2 days later and although the alcohol was still noticable on the nose, the midplate and finish was very nice. I still am not sure what has happened to this winery. All their wines have the same fruit profile on the nose that I do not care for. Also, the alcohol is not well integrated and when pushing 15%+, it is a must. The older wines, 1999-2000, seem a little thin and not as nice as they were in their youth, so when in the hell are you suppose to drink them. Alcoholic young and thin with age. I think their syrahs are very good, but the merlots and cab just do not do for it.
