  There seems to be some bottle variation here. Not an off bottle but just not a great one. Harsh at first with a must cough syrup element. Eventually this blows off leaving behind ripe/sticky almost Cappellano Barolo like fruit. Acid and tannin were low and the color was more orange than ruby so clearly not perfect.

  Opened in the bottle a few hours. This drinks like a less tannic Barolo. Light coloration but good intensity/ripeness. Cherry, rose, leather, mint, dusty earth, baking spice…the more I write the more I like it. Clearly a baby but up there with the best Nebbiolo.
