  • This had good concentration and complexity with some nice earthy mature flavors and notes. But there was a little bit of a acidic nature to it that made me wonder if this was an off bottle. It probably is not available anymore but if one finds it it may be worth trying but I would approach with caution

  • 93-94+. WOW. Another great vintage from this producer. I have now had the 2014,2015,2016, and 2017. All typical Pommard but all different due to the vintage. All delicious. This one strikes me as a hybrid between the 2015 with its lush ripe concentrated fruit and the 2014 with its great acidity and structure. This is a big dark concentrated, fleshy fruit filled pinot noir. Great flavors of strawberry, plum, raspberry, red fruits, dark fruits, earth. Loads of tannins and acids complement the ripe fruit. While enjoyable now, it really needs more age to show its best. Despite its high price tag, its well worth it. Likely best from 2026-2036. Well worth getting. Cellar selection
