Incredible value. Nose upon opening is subdued but started to open after a few minutes in the glass. eucalyptus mint, Slight Cedar, tobacco box, vanilla. Mild acidity and silky tannins. Ripe blueberry. Absolutely delicious!
A Costco special. Definitely worth the $38.99. It's fully developed and ready for consumption. Better yet, decant it for 30-45 minutes before drinking for maximum enjoyment.
Palate. Backwards. Plenty of cocoa and dark chocolate. Plenty of grippy tannins. Finish lasts and lasts. There's a rich and developed structure to this wine. Yet it's not a massive wine, definitely medium bodied.

Big ripe nose, black cherry, black currant jam, vanilla bean, eucalyptus leaf, black tea.
Palate is full bodied, with fine grained tannins. Moderate acidity. Long finish.
Slightly herbaceous at this point, curious to try in a few years.

Ripe fruit and structure, a majority of Merlot, 3 years in barrel? Meant to be drunk earlier? Powerful and rich. And easy drinking for that.
