  • Blend of Sauvignon Blanc (70%) and Semillon (30%). Dark golden color. Beautiful aromas of pear, white flowers, sweet spices and freshly baked shortbread. Lively palate of unripe peach, lemon, apple, minerals and salted caramel. Medium-plus body and beautifully balanced. Creamy texture and a long and luxurious finish.

  • Lemon oil, Meyer lemon peel, vanilla custard, warm baking spice, light fresh-cut oak, wet stone, and just enough of a woody herb note to add interest. Medium-deep lemon, almost gold color. Pronounced aromatic and flavor intensity. M+/H acid, rounded. M/M+ finish. M+ body with light beeswax texture. Oak fermentation and aging (below) is prominent though well-integrated, and possibly just a little bit of tannin is imparted from the oak. Very good, and outstanding if just a touch more complexity and/or longer finish. 72% Sauvignon Blanc, 28% Sémillon. "Alcoholic fermentation at 16.5° in barrels (50% new and 50% used once previously)." Maturation: "100% of the production in French oak barrels with mild toast (50% new and 50% used once previously). Over fine lees, with stirring, during 8 months."

  • Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): struck match, slightly meaty, muted fruit on the nose, reductive on the palate. Meh.

2023-2030 (April/Mai 2021)
