Nose of jammy black fruit, plum and oak. Initial sips of stewed blueberry, oak, vanilla and licorice. I found this too confectionery for my liking at first. This opened up slightly and some of the sugar fell away and more oak, pepper and smoke came through. Nothing notable on the finish.
Med bodied, very smooth, and light acidity. Still a bit too sweet for me, but overall a good QPR on this one.

Nice medium body cab for the price. Not too dry.
