Pale ruby, unfiltered Aromatics medium. No new oak. Cherry and raspberry with an almost candied feel. Later some dust, earth and red florals. Palate has a medium - body. Acid medium +. Tannins medium, fine grained. Alcohol medium -. Tart cherry, ripe cranberry Finish has a medium length led by the acid and crunchy fruit. Balance towards the acid For me, this is exactly what I've come to expect from Arnot-Roberts. Fresh fruit, great acid, low alcohol. I'm not sure what aging will accomplish as the acid will stay, tannins are low and the fruit will only fade with time.

Color is exactly like that of canned cranberry sauce. Woody nose with some raspberry. Again, my visual observation probably influenced my taste perception, because on the tongue I detected (wait for it) cranberry along with some apple. Significant spritz on the tip of the tongue that seemed indicative of secondary fermentation, but I am going to guess that it was acid. Quite light-bodied. (No big surprise, there.) No complexity to speak of. Enjoyable, but not compelling.

Going to avoid scoring, but will add to what others have said. Do not drink this super young. It is puckering tart and very acidic. Never had this bottling before and as a beaujolais fan figured it would drink fine young (have had several nice 2020 Beaujolais), but this obviously needs more time. Will let my other bottles sit and see what happens.

Cranberry honey on the nose; light cranberry on the palate:nice finish.
Paired perfectly with a lean roast pork loin.

Semi-translucent but reasonably cloudy. Light and very well balanced.
