  Deep ruby in glass. Nose of blackberry, vanilla, oak, pepper, ripe plum, raspberry. The nose smells youthful and restrained.
  Dry, med+ acidity, med+ tannins, full body, high alcohol. Med+ flavor intensity, med finish. Raspberry, black cherry, prune, licorice.
  Very good wine although the intense alcohol is never really my style. Can drink now but plenty of room for aging.
  
  Postscript: After decanting 3+ hours the alcohol intensity blew off making for a much more pleasant wine. The tannins revealed themselves to be ripe and smooth. The palate took on a luxurious red fruit tone. This really is a well put together wine although for my taste needs plenty of air (or age), and the appropriate food pairing is essential (wagyu burgers for us).

  Very good QPR Dark ruby color, medium tannings , black fruit plus priorat’s spicy that is good. Medium tannings, medium to plus body, medium finish.
