Bottle an excessively heavy 1426g. Intense ruby color. Aromas of elevated intensity. Smells woody, also mint, red and dark fruit, loam, a little alcohol. Dry, with elevated fresh acidity, full-bodied, 15% abv. The alcohol is fairly well integrated, just a little heat. Modest to moderate grippy tannins. This will be fine with the lamb chops with juniper and herbes de Provence I'm making.

Savory, meaty and black raspberry aromas. Mid-weight impression on the palate, soft tannins, dark fruited. However, finishes with a vanilla yogurt flavor (oak substitute?) that is rather off-putting and cheap tasting. Polished, yes, but I'd prefer a bit more rustic style, to be honest.

Dark ruby in the glass. Nose offered up raspberry, spice and meaty notes. Silky palate with the spice and raspberry notes coming through. Enjoyable enough on its own, but think this might need food for it to really shine (at least for me).

Loaded with sexy raspberry fruit, spiced up with hints of green peppercorn, pomegranate & orange zest. A tank-aged blend of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah & Mourvèdre, it's medium-bodied and very drinkable. The tannins are ripe and silky, adding just the right amount of texture to this fluid, easy-drinking red.
