  • Beautiful, straw-yellow color. Rich, elegant and complex nose with aromas of meadow flowers, vanilla, honey mead and lemon-scented dishwashing liquid. Very sweet and full-bodied in the mouth with a bit flat mouthfeel due to quite low acidity. Lots of rich flavors: lemon, candied lemon peel, vanilla, honey, floral spice and beeswax. A very honeyed, youthful and liqueur-y expression of Muscat compared to the more aged, oxidized styles of the other Mediterranean countries. A bit short and dull finish - due to the low acidity - with sweet floral flavors of honey and some vanilla.

A stylish and elegant Muscat, but suffers from the low acidity stemming from overripe grapes. Lovely aromas and flavors, but lacks structure and intensity. Not a bad wine, but needs to be served quite cool just to counter the lackluster expression and give the wine some freshness. Probably best on its own served as a sweet aperitif before a heavy dinner - you wouldn't want to drink a wine so sweet and heavy after gorging yourself full!

  • Destaques da Vini Vinci 2007; 8/27/2007-8/28/2007: PI. Mel, damasco, floral, boa intensidade e complexidade aromática. Em boca, bastante doce e com grande concentração. Falta, porém, acidez. Vinho bom de feira, pois impressiona pela potência, mas ruim de mesa, já que certamente vai cansar no quarto gole. De todo modo, está longe de ser ruim. 85-87pts.
