Pop and pour. Grilled nuts, lemon, lemon oil, loads of mineral notes with a kiss of.vanilla. Fantastic acidity and density, wet stone, lemon, soft vanilla, elegant and classic. Always lovely.

Pop and pour. Notes from Day 2 open. On the nose: lemon, grilled nuts, wet stone and a touch of spice. On the palate: dark, but fantastic acidity, loads of grapefruit, and like a toasted nut bitterness/sweetness. Long finish. I like this a little less than the 19.

Lemon citrus and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, lemon citrus, yellow apple, and notes of lime, vanilla, and cedar on the medium to long finish, with strong mineral acidity. This is excellent, and it was an excellent value at under $40.

Pop and pour. On the nose: grilled nuts, incense, smoky lemon, lemon oil, soft lime and vanilla. Just fascinating aromatics: clearly chard, but with a compelling twist. On the palate: apple, meyer lemon, soft almond. Seemed almost a touch too mature on the palate. The nose skews ethereal, the palate brings this quickly down to earth.
Day 2: minerality is way up on the palate, and oxidative notes have disappeared. Weird. Much better.
