Simple but crisp and tasty. Absolutely nothing wrong with this little crowd pleaser. Sangio makes for a great refreshing summer rose. Nice texture on the back end.

My first '20 from one of my fav Brunello & rose' producers. I must say this is the biggest Il Poggione Brancato I've ever had. Don't know anything about the '20 Tuscan vintage but assume it must have been a warmer vintage based on the ripeness & body here. So while I'd prefer a bit more lift to offset the sense of weight there is also more complexity to the flavors. This offers a wide array of mouthcoating strawberry & raspberry fruit along w/ a notable spice. Just a touch of herbs. 92pts if it was bit more svelte. 12.5% alc Love the screwcap! Great value for $16 locally.
This isn’t bad, and for the price, pretty decent QPR. The first bottle I tried didn’t really ring the bell, but a couple of months later this has become more harmonious. Light floral and citrus notes on the nose, and refreshing acidity on the palate. Maybe a bit too ephemeral, but otherwise very drinkable.
