  • Slow O'd, then placed into decanter. Interesting nose with strong medicinal notes overlying pretty blue and red fruits, violets and geranium notes, with a balanced touch of oak sweetness. Energetic and juicy over the midpalate, with lovely fruits, and a long finish that was tannic but never drying. Continued to improve over hours. Will wait a couple of years for the next bottle. Interesting and very good.
