Very oaky at this stage both in the nose & on the palate. Nice citrus fruit once this open up a bit. Needs time to settle down & let the oak integrate.

My tasting is similar as Chablis28 with an added hint of petroleum. I upgrade rating on second day when the wine showed better. For me the excessive lushness subsided a good bit by the second day but wine was still "fresh".

Expected to love this but didn't. Perhaps its vintage? Ripe, orchard fruit dominated & lower acidity leaving it feeling a bit plump for my liking. I'd like more citrus & zip. A touch oaky too. Paid $37, drinks more like $12- $20 CA Chard tonight.
