  • The wine perhaps was drunk without enough airing so it was while tasty quite closed. The wine displayed a herbal range of dried bay leaf, thyme and rosemary intertwined with a earthy forest floor nose and a palate that is integrated with dark brooding fruits of ripe cassis, raspberry, pomegranate and red licorice with notes of cedar and graphite. The palate is elegant and seamless with fine dusty tannins. The wine is from an excellent vintage and I believe has a fantastic cellaring potential but give it 3 or 4 years to start revelling itself.
