Disgorged February 2021. 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir. Deep gold. Persistent mousse. Scents of almond croissant, grapefruit, yellow apple, lanolin, ginger and small white flowers. Rich, fat Chardonnay predominant character, but with plenty of citric, acid cut and definition. Also some red cherry and raspberry red-fruited Pinot nuance. Pears, yellow apples, marmalade, vanilla pod, ginger and chalk. Plenty of structure and mouth presence but lacking the complexity to be top quality. At early maturity, I'd drink by 2034 (I doubt it'll materially improve).

NOSE: light; airy; barely-oxidized bright apple; a bit bready.
BODY: golden yellow color; moderately active bead initially, but it dissipated greatly over the first 1.5 hrs; light to medium-light bodied.
TASTE: crisp apple; a touch vinous; juicy. So far, of this bottling, I've had the '12, '13, and this '14, and that's my order of preference, too. The '14 is the first one I've felt not worth the money --- it's good-to-very good, but that appears to be it: it just doesn't have the energy or complexity of the two prior vintages.

Lovely color. The nose shows creamy aromas of orchard fruits, spices, minerals, white flowers and a hint of ginger. This is medium bodied on the palate with excellent concentration and very good class. The fairly long finish features a mineral element.

Disgorged 2021 and Brian notes its darn really good. Tight and refined. But with some richness in the mid palate.
