Having had 2 bottles out of 5 that are quite attractive, and one that I tipped down the sink in disgust (tasted like Brett), one that was barely a Pencarrow equivalent and now tonight another that is far from what Palliser would want their Estate wine to be like - I am certainly wondering what happened to this vintage bottling! No, this bottle not the best (again) but drinkable. If Palliser know problems occurred with the bottling, why are they allowing this wine to be sold at "full" prices and without a warning. The 2 good bottles have been great. So disappointing and I am out of pocket. Probably never going to buy Palliser wine again!

After previous very disappointing bottle and having decided to drink the rest of my half dozen this bottle is so much better it's chalk vs cheese. Major concern to have such bottle variation. Like the last one was meant for the Pencarrow bottling
Today we have a much darker richer impressive wine. Black cherry just as I like it. Why the difference?

Critics are raving about it? - What am I missing? Perhaps this Pinot divides the audience but I'm greatly disappointed. Once again, Palliser produce a less than impressive Estate Pinot. Its barely medium colour, strawberry & rhubarb nose, not unattractive but certainly not impressive. On the palate those flavours are present with more than a hint of charred oak perhaps also with some slightly creamy mouthfeel from malolactic. Its a sort of light bodied Pinot plus some creditable aspects but far from impressive. Improves slightly from decanting so drink over the next 3 years. I'm at odds with the critics who award 95pts (no way!) and will be happy to admit its better if it proves it to me in a couple of years. Not what I was looking for (sad face) and not good value for money in my view. I'm happy to admit Palliser produce a Pinot not to my taste and I'll go away now and you'll never see another review of Palliser from me.

Disappointing. Definitely a flawed bottle and not at all like the wine tasted and bought at the winery.
