  Bright cassis, oxidized boysenberry, crushed stone. Palate: sour cherry, lighter-bodied than I expected; lacks tannin and structure; sweet; finishes with some wood spice; a lingering twang. Overall, it has a pretty nose, but its mouthfeel is a bit thin and the sweet/sour combo gives it a cheap-tasting flavor.

  The wine looks inky colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, red currant and black currant (cassis). It tastes like black currant (cassis). The body is full. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity.
