Just not my style of Barbara perhaps. Juicy and acids upfront, on the palate its more juicy fruit with a strong cherry component. No earth or minerals to be found anywhere, but a hint of oak in the background.
When I think of how totally different this wine is from a "real" Barbara grown in Italy, I just can't understand how anyone who knows that version will be able to like this version.

On the palate- Bright tart cherry, red raspberry, fresh blackberry, dried herbs, forest floor, licorice, black pepper

Fleshy cherry on the nose, very pretty. On the palate the cherry fruit is perfectly ripe and the acid is good. I feel like I’m gonna get hit with a tartness on the mid palate but the wine goes down incredibly smooth. A pleasant experience!
