  This has tart but muted red fruit; I enjoy the cinnamon bark and twiggy notes that seem to extend into a somewhat astringent and tannic finish (again, maybe not to everyone's taste, but I like it here). Acidity is fine, but the lack of fruit does detract from any sense of liveliness. Happy to be drinking this, but not among my favourite recent examples of PEC pinot.
