First of two samples dropped off by a friend spontaneously, tasted blind. Medium to light lemon colour. Good fruit, pineapple, peach, ripe green apple, and ripe lemon are joined by pleasant herbal notes, with good, medium-level acidity and superb length. Medium- to full-bodied, with good concentration and complexity, and great persistence. Well-balanced, with a full, lightly creamy texture. Open, accessible and rewarding.
I guessed South Africa, Sauvignon Blanc/Chenin Blanc blend, from a warm climate or vintage. Fairly close, as it turns out: the Seasalter 2021 is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon. A very good wine, and very good value for money. My wife and I both liked it quite a bit.
