Vigorous bead, pale lemon-straw colour. A lot of yeasty autolysis on the nose with pleasing nut notes. Lemony on the front of the palate, transitioning through a rich, savoury mid-palate, and lingering slightly sweet finish. Great example of NZ bubbles, very different to classic French champagne, but appealing in its own way.
