Nice Virginia Viognier with notes of honey and peach/apple. Went very well with a honey rosemary chicken dinner. We've tasted several of these at the winery, and this reserve is their best effort yet. I would recommend.

(Barboursville Vineyards Viognier Reserve) Brilliant, fairly intense lemon-gold color. Clean, moderately intense, youthful nose of ripe peach, nectarine, lilac, and orange blossom, with notes of lanolin and cotton candy. Moderately high acidity. The palate adds distinct notes of ripe apple and apricot; the finish is moderately long and complex and is structurally balanced. Winery Spotlight: Barboursville Vineyards
