Very disappointing bottle, as this was given 91-93 rating by Parker according to my usually reliable wine store. Very tart and tight, even for a young Rhone, and not a lot of fruit shown. Tasted over a couple of days, so it had plenty of time to open up. Maybe it will improve over 5+ years in the cellar, but I can't why it was rated so highly. Also bought the St. Martin label of the same year, also highly Parker rated, will see if that one differs.

purple black colour. Lovely fruit/flower on the nose. Earth and fruit on palate, good food wine, if slightly soft Rhone village. Slightly overpriced imo.

slight garrigue nose, and slight spice on the palate. Good black fruits, and bite. well balanced with semi long aftertaste
