Not bad just not my cup of tea (or glass of wine!) just too sweet for my tastes. Ripe, mainly red fruit; raspberry, strawberry, loganberry, dried cherry, black tea and a mere hint of ripe stems. Medium acidity, medium ripe tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity and a medium, sweetish finish. No doubt better with food.

Ruby turning to a light garnet in appearance, and there is an impressive nose of strawberries, sweet cherries, redcurrants, pomegranates, slightly medicinal spiciness, arthy mushrooms and hints of smokiness. On the palate , good acidity and flavours of vanilla plums and cherries. Satisfying Monterey Pinot Noir that represents a real value. Recommended. Drink up over the next couple of years.

Simple easy drinking Pinot, light to medium body, worked well with food, in this case Pheasant, no complaints and great vfm sourced by the Wine Society. Well done.
