  Deeply colored with the plummy, pruny, intoxicating perfume and taste of the four traditional Porto grapes — Tinta Madeira, Tinta Cao, Souzao and Touriga Nacional — that make up the blend. Underlying, and to an extent overpowering, is the 19.5% alcohol. Yet this is a wine that will last decades. Vintage Porto may get the accolades and prices from "connoisseurs" and collectors, but this California rendition of this famous wine style is sure to challenge its namesake original. Strikingly underpriced.
