  • The bouquet and palate are complexly concentrated and forward with layers of ripe black raspberries and plums, violet, toasted sweet spices of liquorice, clove and star anise, earthy black peppers and dried bay leaves. Rich and fresh at the same time. Polished texture. Full-bodied mid-palate, transiting nicely into a long, dense but clean finish. A touch of Amarone traits given the process of fermenting semi-dried grapes. Let this breathe for a while before drinking. A few more years will be even better. This is build to last for up to 20 years of drinking window. 95-96 pts
