  Unscrewed and poured. Funky melon aroma with grassy notes. Slightly sour flavors of strawberry, orange peel, and minerals. Lemony finish.
  
  Distinctive, unusual, complex, firm backbone, great staying power. Excellent.

  Day 1 - If double blind, I would say Sauv Blanc / Gris blend. Gooseberry, grapefruit, unripe apricot/pineapple, and hint of passion fruit. Maybe onion too. Linear but light metallic acidity like aluminum. 12.7% abv but alcohol sticking out. 87.
  
  Day 3-4 - a bit of yellow cherry and a lot of yeasty weight like cloudy orange wine. Finish still dominated by alcohol bitterness. Worked excellently with anything tomato - fresh and cooked. 87-88.
